In 1953 the Chinese Peoples Liberation Army invaded and despite a spirited resistance the poorly armed peasants were no match for the Chinese. Since then the Chinese have exploited the Land, Tortured the people and destroyed the fabled monastries, but they have not broken the spirit of the Tibetans. Fair Trade Embroidered Chinese Dragon with Yin Yang T Shirt Ref: dragyinT

Our new chinese dragon circling a Yin Yang is really groovy. This design reminded us of the first wave of international travellers who arrived in Kathmandu, the freaks or hippies who arrived in the sixties and colonised areas of Kathmandu. But actually it is a much older chinese design.
