They are hand made in Kathmandu from recycled silk sarees, the silk sarees are pulled apart and the silk threads are spun together to make a thicker silk yarn. The caps are then crocheted. Our new chunky knit woollen hat is just the thing to keep out the chill this autumn. They are handknitted by our knitters in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. They use a lovely soft wool which they spin into a thick yarn and then dip dye in two different shades of the same colour before knitting the hat. This gives the hat an interesting colour and texture. Our chunky knit hats come in the choice of pinks, purples and blues.

These fingerless gloves with a cover are very cool ( as well as being very warm!). You can use your fingers when you need to without having to take off your gloves. When you don't need to use your fingers you simply pull the cover over your fingers, keeping them nice and warm.
