About Us
One World is Enough specialises in importing, retailing and wholesaling Fairly Traded Goods from around the World. We spend several months every year travelling around developing countries either meeting new producers or working with our existing producers on new designs. We know all our producers personally, in fact they have all become our friends. By making our own contacts we are able to personally vet them according to our ethical policy It also means that we able to reach the primary producers of the goods, in fact many of the people we buy from are the very poorest craft people living in remote villages. In creating a market for their goods we enable our suppliers to help themselves. Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Our server is completely secure, look out for the golden padlock before you enter your card details.We accept credit / debit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction into your own currency. We accept Visa , Mastercard, Switch, Delta, Solo and JCB cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.We also accept Credit / Debit Card Orders over the phone on 0845 257 3026 between 10 am and 5 pm ( UK time) Monday to Friday. When the office is unmanned or we are all busy there is an answerphone in operation, please leave your details and we'll get back to you asap.Please note that we charge for all our goods in British Pounds, the US Dollar equivalent is given as a guide. However if you live in the US or have a credit card in US dollars, the amount that your credit card company charges you may vary from this as they often charge a percentage to convert from dollars to pounds.If you are shopping in the UK you can also pay by cheque (sterling cheques only). We need the full details of the product ordered ( size , colour, code no), your address and phone no and don't forget to add postage and packing ( £4.95 ). Shipping And Handling
For orders within the UK you can choose whether you wish to have your goods sent by Standard or Express Service. We charge £4.95 for the Express Service which should be with you within 2 - 3 working days and £3.95 for the standard service which takes 7 working days. These rates are for orders up to 1 kg, for heavier orders the rates increase incrementally.For goods to Europe, our rates start at £4.95 for up to 750g, for heavier orders the rates increase incrementally. You should receive your order within 7 -10 working days. For goods to the Americas & the Middle East our rates start at £5.95 for order weighing up to 500g, for heavier orders the rates increase incrementally. For orders weighing up to 2 kg we ship the order airmail, for orders weighing more you have the choice of using airmail or seamail. Airmail takes about 7- 10 working days, whilst seamail can take up to 8 weeks but is alot cheaper.For the rest of the World, we are able to ship to any country on our list of countries at the checkout. Our rates start at £5.95 for order weighing up to 500g, for heavier orders the rates increase incrementally. For orders weighing up to 2 kg we ship the order airmail, for orders weighing more you have the choice of using airmail or seamail. Airmail takes about 10 - 14 working days, whilst seamail can take up to 8 weeks but is alot cheaper.If your country is not listed please email us and we will see if it is possible for us to ship to you.In order to save on precious resources we reuse packaging where ever possible, otherwise we simply wrap our parcels in brown paper ( we do obviously use bubble wrap or other protective materials to protect fragile orders, but again we try and recycle where possible).

Delivery Schedule
We aim to process your order right away. We will normally send your express order to you the business day after we receive it . We process the express orders before the standard orders and use first class post or courier, so if you need your order in hurry please use the express service. After all express orders have been processed we process Standard orders in the order in which they were received.We charge £4.95 for the Express Service which should be with you within 2 - 3 working days and £3.95 for the standard service which takes 7 - 10 working days. These rates are for up to 1 kg, for heavier orders the rates increase incrementally.For delivery schedules to the rest of the World please see under Shipping & Handling.We will use our best endeveours to ensure that your order arrives within the agreed timeframe, however we are unable to guarentee delivery times.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will inform you and we will give you an estimated date of the arrival of a new shipment. We will also give you the choice of alternative items which are in stock. Please reply to our emails to let us know what you would like to do. If you do not reply within 7 days, or if you email is bounced back to us we reserve the right to send you one of the alternative products.We aim to keep you updated on the status of your order. You will always have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
All Prices are inclusive of all taxes payable in The UK and European Union. For orders outside the European Union your own country may impose import duties which would be payable to your government when you receive your goods.

Credit Card Security
We use a secure server to process your credit card information. Look out for the golden padlock on the ordering screen before you type in your card details.As an additional security device we ask for the security code, this is the last three digits printed on the signature strip on the back of your card. This does not form part of your credit card number. We also check that the address given is the registered cardholders address, please ensure that the address you give is the actual postal address.

Guarantee
We source our goods directly from our network of producers, across Asia. We work with them on the design and production of our goods. We vet our suppliers to ensure that they abide by our Fair Trade Policy. This ensures that our products are made in safe working conditions, that all the workers are paid fairly and that there is no child labour. We pay half the cost of the goods when we put in our orders and the rest as soon as they are ready for shipping. This means that our producers do not have to fund expensive credit. We are members of the Britsih association of Fair Trade Shops. Returns Policy
We hope that you are very happy with your purchase, please be aware that all our goods are hand made in small villages in the developing world and there may be small differences in between the goods that you receive and the goods pictured on our site. This should be seen as a sign that your product is made by hand and not mass produced, you have something unique!Retail Customers However, if you are unhappy with your purchase you may return it within 14 days of receiving it, for a refund or exchange. Returned Items bought as Christmas Presents in November and December must be received by January 8 to qualify for a refund or exchange. Please return your purchase in its original packing material together with the paperwork that you received with your order, together with a covering letter expalining whether you would like a refund or exchange. Please note that items must be returned in their original unworn state with tags attached. Please obtain a free proof of posting form from the Post Office when you return your goods as we can not be held liable for any returns that fail to reach us.
